Bayer Leverkusen Prodigy Ayman Aourir at Center of Morocco-Algeria National Team Tug-of-War

A battle is currently being played out between the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and its Algerian counterpart (FAF) to attract the favors of Ayman Aourir, a young prodigy from Bayer Leverkusen.
The player, of Algerian origin through his mother and Moroccan through his father, finds himself at the heart of a battle between the two national teams, each eager to enlist him in their ranks.
The FRMF has taken the lead by contacting Aourir, highlighting his potential and the role he could play in the Moroccan national team in the future.
For its part, the FAF does not intend to remain idle. It has also approached the striker, promising him a choice place within the Fennecs and the opportunity to actively contribute to the ambitions of the Algerian national team.
The young player’s choice would be Morocco, the latter having already played two matches with the under-17 national team. This choice seems to be motivated by Morocco’s performance on the international stage, notably the historic feat achieved during the last World Cup in Qatar.
Moreover, many top European clubs are also eyeing the young prodigy, such as Tottenham in England, Bayern Munich in Germany and Monaco in France.
