Barcelona Wonderkid Ismail Ziani Faces National Team Decision: Morocco or Spain?
Ismail Ziani Lopez, a young striker at FC Barcelona, has the choice between two countries for his next international matches. He has indeed received invitations from the Moroccan and Spanish under-15 national teams.
On his Instagram account, Ziani shared the invitations received from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
The FRMF invited him to a gathering of the Moroccan under-15 national team from March 18 to 22, 2024 at the Mohammed V football complex. Two friendly matches against Zambia are planned during this training camp.
For its part, the RFEF has summoned the young Moroccan to participate in two international matches during the March 2024 international break.
Born in 2009 to a Moroccan father and a Spanish mother, Ziani is considered one of the best players of his generation. He has already worn the captain’s armband for the youth teams of FC Barcelona and continues to play with the under-15 team.
