Morocco Secures Rising Star Ihab Goudani El Baraka for National Team Ahead of Major Tournaments

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is sparing no effort to weave a solid network around young Moroccan talents playing abroad. The primary objective is to strengthen the ranks of the national team in preparation for major upcoming events, including the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup.
Among the coveted players is Ihab Goudani El Baraka, a 18-year-old prodigy playing for the French club Bobigny in the second division. Discussions would have been initiated between the FRMF and the player so that he joins the Moroccan team, thus dissuading him from wearing the jersey of Spain where he was born.
The FRMF would thus have succeeded in convincing the young player to join the Moroccan Olympic national team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This integration could be made official very soon.
Ihab Goudani’s exceptional performances this season with Bobigny have not escaped the eyes of the big European clubs. Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam are among the suitors of the young striker, who could experience a highly publicized transfer during the next summer transfer window.
With 15 goals and 12 assists to his name, Ihab Goudani El Baraka is already asserting himself as a future great champion. But like any young player, he must be very well supervised and followed, and this is what the FRMF is trying to do.
