Barcelona Weighs Future of Rising Star Ez Abde After Successful Osasuna Loan

The adventure of Abdessamad Ezzalzouli (Ez Abde) at Osasuna seems to be coming to an end. The team, led by Jagoba Arrasate, had a very good season, reaching the final of the Copa del Rey and qualifying for the Europa League.
FC Barcelona, who had loaned the young talent to Osasuna, closely followed this beautiful trajectory. Today, the Barcelona leaders, Xavi Hernández and Joan Laporta, are hesitant about the Moroccan’s future.
At Osasuna, a turbulent summer is looming, with departures and arrivals, and Abde’s return seems uncertain. Braulio Vázquez, the club’s sporting director, expressed his pessimism about the possibility of keeping the player in their ranks. "We have to admit that he has spent a year at Osasuna. Who knows? Maybe he will come back one day," Vázquez commented to Eldesmarque, seeming to accept that the player’s future may not be in Navarre, despite a year where he shone in Osasuna’s colors.
Abde’s experience at Osasuna has been a success, both for the player and for the team. "He has spent a precious year with us. We have greatly benefited from his presence, and vice versa, thanks to his undeniable talent," Vázquez said. The sporting director, however, wanted to be clear: "I find it difficult, even impossible, to think that he could stay with us for another year. He is a unique player. Although he needs a suitable environment, which our supporters and our team have been able to offer him, his future remains uncertain. Recruiters have been observing him closely in recent times, and it is likely that Barcelona, or even another team, will want to recover him," he concluded.
