Barcelona Scouts Monitor Morocco-Brazil Friendly for Transfer Targets
Barça has always had some Moroccan players on its radar. It has specifically sent a recruiter to Morocco to follow the friendly match between the Atlas Lions and the Seleçao.
The management of FC Barcelona attaches importance to the friendly match between Morocco - beaten painfully in the semi-finals by France at the 2022 Qatar World Cup - and Brazil which will take place this Saturday (11pm) at the Grand Stade de Tanger. The Catalan club has sent a recruiter to Morocco to follow the match, specifically to monitor two transfer targets (the Brazilian Vitor Roque and the Moroccan Sofyan Amrabat) and two of its own players, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli and Chadi Riad, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Barça was on the verge of signing Sofyan Amrabat during the January transfer window, but the management of his club, Fiorentina, thwarted his departure. Apparently, the Catalan club still intends to secure the services of the Moroccan midfielder. The other player that the Catalan club is not about to let go is Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, whom it has loaned to Osasuna until June 2023. It wants to recover him while the management of the little reds, impressed by the performances of the Moroccan winger, do not want to let him go.
