Barcelona’s Ezzalzouli Returns After Impressive Loan Spell at Osasuna

The loan contract of Abdessamad Ezzazouli to Osasuna ends this week. The 21-year-old Moroccan striker will return to Barcelona, after a year during which he has amazed the Navarrese public.
After making his debut with the FC Barcelona first team last year, Ezzalzouli arrived in Pamplona on loan. The Moroccan winger, very technical and efficient in front of goal, quickly won the affection of El Sadar. Osasuna coach Jagoba Arrasate was happy to have him in his team, especially when he started scoring decisive goals.
On January 25, Ezzalzouli offered the victory against Seville by scoring in the 99th minute in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey. A month later, he scored again against the same club in La Liga, giving his team the three points. But one of Ezzalzouli’s most memorable goals will be the one against Athletic in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals. He also scored a brace against Elche, and scored two weeks ago against Almería, totaling half a dozen goals.
In 27 games in all competitions, Ezzalzouli played 1,426 minutes. The fans will be able to say goodbye to him this Sunday in his last game. On Wednesday, dozens of people gathered around the Moroccan player after training to take a picture with him, get an autograph, or exchange a few words with him.
