New Automotive Sealing Plant Opens in Tangier, Creating 200 Jobs

A new plant specializing in the manufacture of automotive sealing gaskets was inaugurated on Wednesday, November 20 in Tangier by Sealynx automotive Morocco.
The Renault (Tangier) and Peugeot (Kenitra) manufacturers will be the main beneficiaries of this new industrial unit, whose investment is estimated at around 240 million dirhams.
In total, 200 people have been recruited for this 12,600 m2 plant. "This fifth unit confirms the pioneering role of the group by being the first automotive gasket supplier to achieve the EPDM profile extrusion technology in Morocco," says its CEO, Alain Martineau.
For the manager, Sealynx automotive Morocco’s strength also imposes itself locally and regionally: "Thanks to this key investment, Sealynx automotive Morocco strengthens its position as a leader for the local market."
Evolving in its ambitions, Sealynx international is already thinking of setting up "a new product development center for the local market".
