Chinese Auto Parts Giant Citic Dicastal Expands in Morocco, Creating 1,200 New Jobs

And two for Citic Dicastal in Kenitra. The Chinese group proceeded on Monday, November 25, 2019 to the inauguration of the second phase of the Dicastal Morocco Africa project, for a total investment of 350 million euros.
The new factory covers an area of 30,000 m2 and will create at least 1,200 jobs. Equipped with advanced technology, it is capable of offering high-quality products, as well as a range of larger rims, it is indicated.
In his speech, Moulay Hafid Elalamy stressed that this project concluded by King Mohammed VI and President Xi Jinping is giving a boost to Morocco in terms of high-tech industry. The minister also noted that the first phase of the project, inaugurated in June 2019, is currently operating at full capacity to supply its customers in Morocco, the United States and Europe.
With more than 17,000 jobs, Citic Dicastal has 30 production units, spread across Europe, North America and China. Its annual production capacity is 60 million rims and 110,000 tons of engine and chassis components. Dicastal supplies the majority of automakers such as Volkswagen, BMW, Renault-Nissan, Fiat, Chrysler Automotive, Peugeot, GM, Toyota...to name a few.
