Automotive Giant Aptiv to Create 3,500 Jobs with New Morocco Plant

The American automotive supplier Aptiv, specialized in wiring systems, has launched a large-scale recruitment plan for its new plant located in Oujda.
Aptiv is one of the foreign companies in the automotive industry that have announced a relocation of their activities to Morocco.
To this end, the company has started the construction of a new wiring plant in Oujda, for a total budget of 394 million dirhams. This project, carried out on an area of 8 hectares, will generate 3,500 direct jobs for an effective start in June next.
In the meantime, the Aptiv group has launched a major recruitment operation. It concerns people with a baccalaureate or more, or a technician’s diploma or more, indicates the Regional Investment Center (CRI) of the Oriental, stressing that the online applications are on the website of the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC).
