Armed Robbery at Barcelona Phone Store: Two Suspects Arrested

The Catalan police arrested two Moroccan nationals who carried out the armed robbery of a mobile phone store in the suburbs of Barcelona.
The scene of the theft, captured on video, dates back to November 12, when two individuals aged 29 and 31 had broken into an electronics store. While fleeing, the two men had seized a motorcycle in their path.
According to the victim’s statements to the police, the two men seized 7,000 euros in cash and more than 33,000 euros in merchandise.
In total, more than 40,000 euros were extorted from the merchant under the threat of a knife. Identified thanks to the surveillance camera, the two defendants were arrested and placed in custody pending their appearance in court.
