Armed Robbery Attempt Foiled at Tangier Bank, Suspects Flee
Two individuals with masked faces tried to rob an armored cash transport van in front of a bank in Tangier. They were prevented by the private security agents who were on site.
The incident took place at the entrance of the Gzenaya free zone in front of a bank branch, reports Tanj24, specifying that the two criminals tried to steal bags of money, during their transfer from the van to the bank branch. They fled in a black car, it was specified.
The security forces, who arrived quickly on the scene shortly after the incident, proceeded to view the video recordings, filmed by the cameras installed in front of the bank branch.
An investigation has been opened to determine the identity of the people involved in this attempted theft, the same sources said.
