Armed Gang Terrorizes Rabat High School, Injuring Staff and Damaging Property

15 armed individuals burst into the Ibn Batouta vocational high school in Rabat last Wednesday, causing considerable material damage. Teachers and administrative staff were targeted.
The attackers arrived in the middle of the afternoon in the school courtyard, whose doors were unfortunately not closed, reports the site Aljarida24, which describes an outburst of violence.
After the threats and insults, the assailants attacked the teachers and administrative staff of the institution. A security guard was hit by thrown stones, while a teacher had his arm broken, the same source continues. The school principal was targeted.
A solidarity campaign with the victims of the attack was launched by the regional office of the National Association for Education, which called on the provincial administration to ensure the protection of educational and administrative staff within the city’s schools.
