Armand Guigui, Prominent Moroccan Jewish Leader and Philanthropist, Dies at 86

The Jewish community of Fez is in mourning. Armand Guigui, its president, died on the night of Sunday, December 01 in Rabat following a long illness.
Two weeks before his death, Dr. Armand Guigui had been hospitalized. He was 86 years old and will remain a personality who has marked the hearts of many people.
Indeed, the man was known for his associative activism and his social actions in favor of the underprivileged, writes 2M.ma. A pediatrician in Fez, he voluntarily visited poor families, especially in the old Medina of Fez.
His funeral will be held on Friday, December 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Israelite cemetery in Fez.
