Moroccan Jewish Community Mourns 3 COVID-19 Deaths Linked to Wedding

Three members of the Jewish community in Morocco died from the coronavirus, three weeks after attending a wedding party in Agadir.
According to the daily The Time of Israel, they are businessman Ari Peretz, 58, his mother, Simone Peretz, 75, and businessman Michel Tordjman. The two businessmen were buried in the Jewish cemetery in Casablanca. With these three deaths, the Jewish community in Morocco has lost a total of 16 of its members due to the coronavirus.
"Their death is a great loss for the Jewish community in Morocco. [...] These are people who have made a significant contribution to the community," said a member of the community.
