Veteran Moroccan Journalist Mustapha Alaoui Dies at 83

Died from a long illness, on Saturday, December 28, 2019, Mustapha Alaoui, director of the weekly "Al Ousboue Assahafi" was buried in the Sidi Messaoud cemetery in the Ryad district of Rabat. He was 83 years old.
Family members, friends and personalities from the world of communication, media, politics and letters, accompanied Mustapha Alaoui to his final resting place, in the Sidi Messaoud cemetery, after the Al-asr prayers.
The late was a civil servant at the Ministry of National Education before embracing the profession of journalist that he practiced for many years. His know-how had allowed him to climb the ranks, to occupy in particular the positions of editor-in-chief and director of the weekly "Al Ousboue Assahafi". He hosted the column entitled "Alhaqiqa Addaiâa" (the lost truth).
Born on December 28, 1936 in Fez, Mustapha Alaoui obtained his baccalaureate in Rabat before pursuing his studies at the National School of Administration. Thanks to a scholarship, he practiced the profession of journalist for two years in international media such as Figaro, Le Monde and France Soir.
