Antwerp Police Release Footage of Multiple Grenade Attacks, Seek Public’s Help

The Antwerp justice system has, for the first time, released images of the grenade attacks that occurred on December 19, as part of the "Faroek" program on the VTM channel.
The images show a series of nine attacks in Antwerp at the end of the year, including shootings in Deurne on December 19, according to Belga. The same source indicates that six other incidents would be linked to these shootings.
As the perpetrators have not yet been identified, the police are calling for the collaboration of people who can provide them with information about the suspects and their vehicles. They are asking them to contact the investigators.
For a few months now, the Flemish city has been experiencing a wave of grenade attacks and shootings. A grenade explosion had occurred on the night of Sunday, January 19 to Monday, January 20, 2019 in Antwerp. In total, six vehicles and two facades had been damaged. According to the authorities, this wave of grenade explosions would be linked to drug trafficking.
In October, it was the home of a Moroccan family that had been targeted by a grenade. The video had been widely disseminated by the Belgian police and media.
