Grenade Attack on Suspected Drug Traffickers’ Home Shocks Belgian Neighborhood

Surveillance camera footage released by the Belgian federal police traces the course of a grenade attack targeting the home of a Moroccan family in the Antwerp region of Belgium.
The attack, which took place on September 2, would be part of a settling of scores between drug traffickers, and apparently targeted a Moroccan family known in the region for its illicit activities.
The video shows an individual riding a bicycle, unscrewing the tip of a grenade and pulling the string before throwing it between two cars and fleeing the scene at full speed.
The explosion, which hit four cars and shattered the windows of three houses, created a state of panic among the residents of the neighborhood. Unable to identify the perpetrators of the attack, the police have called on residents to provide any information that could advance the investigation.
