After the anger, EasyJet forced to change the map of Morocco

EasyJet’s presentation of a map of Morocco amputated of its Sahara caused an uproar. Faced with the controversy, the airline corrected its mistake.
EasyJet presented a map of Morocco without the Sahara in its in-flight magazine, highlighting its 150 destinations, provoking the indignation of Moroccan tourism professionals and the general public on social networks. They described this map as a "provocation" and a "malicious act". This error is "unacceptable", fume many Internet users.
Tourism professionals have urged Moroccan airport authorities to demand that the airline provide a complete map of Morocco including the Sahara. They "stressed that EasyJet greatly benefited from Moroccan tourism, which reflects the importance of accurately representing the geography of the country." Faced with the outcry, EasyJet corrected the error. The company has published the complete map of Morocco, at least online.
For the record, several countries such as the United States, Spain and France have adopted the complete map of Morocco including the Sahara. On Tuesday, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs published it on its website.
