EasyJet Sparks Outrage Over Controversial Morocco Map Omitting Western Sahara

The British airline EasyJet finds itself at the center of a controversy after broadcasting a map of Morocco amputated of its Sahara.
This map, used to illustrate the company’s annual program, provoked a wave of outraged reactions from Moroccan tourism professionals and Internet users.
These, who widely relayed the image on social networks, denounce a "provocative" action on the part of EasyJet, all the more surprising since the company benefits from many partnerships and agreements with the Kingdom. It operates several direct flights and lines to various Moroccan destinations.
"Given the profits EasyJet derives from Moroccan tourism, this error is unacceptable," fumes a tourism operator. Professionals in the sector are calling for the intervention of Adel El Fakir, Director General of the National Airports Office, so that he demands that EasyJet publish a complete map of Morocco.
