Anderlecht Prodigy Anouar Aït El Hadj Faces National Team Decision: Morocco or Belgium?

The Belgian player of Moroccan origin Anouar Ait El Hadj is on the radar of coach Vahid Halilhodzic, but he is not the only one. At 18 years old, the young gem of Sporting Anderlecht is also being tracked by the coach of the Red Devils, who plans to recruit him.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has already contacted the player to convince him to wear the jersey of the Atlas Lions in the upcoming competitions. Anouar Aït El Hadj was born in Belgium to Moroccan parents. He has already played for the Belgian national under-16, under-17 and under-18 teams.
"My staff has already had contacts with Aït El Hadj’s entourage. We are closely following his development at Anderlecht, I personally watch his matches. He is a talented boy who is currently performing well. Needless to say, we would like Ait El Hadj to play for Morocco in due course, he can certainly bring us something," said national coach Vahid Halilhodzic.
Morocco is also on the trail of FC Nantes midfielder Imran Louza (21 years old). The international who plays with the French Espoirs would have even made a request to change his sports nationality in order to play with Morocco.
