Nantes Midfielder Imran Louza Weighs International Future Between France and Morocco

The Franco-Moroccan, Imran Louza, could soon decide on his sports nationality for the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
At 20 years old, Imran Louza is already a revelation in his club, FC Nantes, and in the French U20 selection. Even though the Atlas Lion has already played for the two selections in lower categories (U20), Imran Louza is now faced with the difficult choice of sports nationality.
For now, the Moroccan attacking midfielder is in no hurry, although he is happy to play with the Blues in U20. He made this known in the "Une semaine en Ballon" program on France Bleu Loire Océan: "It’s not simple. It’s a personal choice. Everyone will choose what they want. Deep down, really. Today, I chose the French team and I’m very happy. Join Morocco for the CAN qualifications? Today, I’m focused on FC Nantes. After, we’ll see..."
In 2017, the Franco-Moroccan made his debut with the Moroccan U20 team and revealed himself by scoring a goal. Two years later, he joined the French team and participated in the matches in March 2019, against the United States (2-2), and South Korea (3-1 win).
Eager to play for the French selection, he had agreed at the time with the federation officials for a double confrontation against the Blues. His performances have seduced the French, who decided to enroll him and call him up with the French Espoirs.
Louza is celebrating his first selection with the French Espoirs team on September 5, 2019, against Albania. Appointed starter in this match, France won 4-0, before defeating the Czech Republic. The player also participates in the next match on September 9, against the Czech Republic, where he comes on as a substitute (3-1 victory for France).
