FC Nantes Star Imran Louza Eyes Potential Morocco National Team Call-Up

The Franco-Moroccan international, Imran Louza, a regular starter at FC Nantes, was elected player of the month for January 2020. The French attacking midfielder could soon prove himself with the national team, in the upcoming CAN 2021 qualifiers.
After honing his skills with the Canaries, the Franco-Moroccan player signed his first professional contract with the Ligue 1 club in 2018. In the 2019 French Cup, Imran Louza scored his first goal with the Nantes team, reports Hespress.
Thanks to his coach, Christian Gourcuff, who fully trusts him and has made him a true leader, the attacking midfielder continues to progress with 13 starts and two goals to his name. Elected Canary of the Month, the Franco-Moroccan received his trophy on Tuesday, February 4, just before taking the field to face the Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain.
The future leader intends to impose himself again with his teammates, as in the past. "I had that role in all the youth categories and I’m doing it today as a professional. It’s important to continue to do it, even with the pros," he had promised. For his part, coach Gourcuff believes that Imran is a player who gives confidence to others. According to him, a guy like Imran Louza is not a big mouth, but a player who exudes something for the others.
Imran Louza could soon join the national team. While he has already proven himself with the Moroccan U20 team, he has also played under the orders of the current national coach, Vahid Halilhodzic. In addition to the national team, the Franco-Moroccan attacking midfielder also joined the French U20 team in 2019 and the U21 team on September 5, 2019. With his track record, he could be a good option for the Bosnian coach, during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
