AML Expands Fleet with ’Morocco Sun’ Ferry, Boosting Tanger-Med to Algeciras Route

The third ship of the Moroccan company Africa Morocco link (AML) will arrive in the coming days. Its name: ’’Morocco sun’’.
Africa Morocco link (AML) is strengthening its lines. After ’’Morocco star’’, with a capacity of 935 passengers, acquired in 2017, and ’’Amman’’, with a capacity of 890 passengers and 280 vehicles, the Moroccan company announces the arrival of its third ship, ’’Morocco sun’’, on its Facebook page.
The ship "will be able to offer up to 11 departures per day from the Port of Tanger-Med to that of Algeciras," says AML.
’’Morocco sun’’ is the old Moroccan ferry, ’’Le Rif’’, immobilized for many months in the Italian port of Genoa. Already, in June 2019, Meretmarine.com had announced the resumption of the ship’s activities on the Algeciras-Tanger line.
In total, AML has three ships capable of serving the Tanger Med-Algeciras line.
The company, ’’Africa Morocco link’’, with ’’Blue star ferries’’ and ’’Superfast ferries’’, is a subsidiary of the ’’Attica’’ group, listed on the Athens stock exchange.
