American Traveler Arrested at Casablanca Airport with Over 1kg of Drugs

A traveler who was trying to board a flight to Washington, in possession of more than a kilo of drugs, was unable to pass all the security checkpoints at Casablanca international airport.
This American national, bound for the United States, was arrested in possession of 1.145 kg of drugs.
The American was about to board a flight to Washington with drugs packaged in several packets hidden in his backpack. He quickly attracted the attention of security agents at the security checkpoint.
He was nervous and gave "incoherent answers to routine questions". After his arrest, he was remanded in custody, in accordance with the requisitions of the Casablanca prosecutor’s office.
