Alleged Salafist Drug Dealer Arrested in Morocco: Police Seize Psychotropic Tablets

A bigamous Salafist was arrested in flagrante delicto of trafficking in psychotropic drugs in Salé. The police services under the Tabriquet district presented him to the public prosecutor.
Based on information provided by psychotropic drug users during their interrogation, the police conducted investigations that led to the arrest of their dealer. It is a person with a long beard, who dresses like the Salafists and who has a "mobile snack bar", reports Assabah. He was caught in the act of trafficking in psychotropic drugs. During his arrest, he was in possession of 52 psychotropic tablets intended for sale while he was posing as an itinerant sandwich seller.
The preliminary investigation reveals that the Salafist is a repeat offender who had just been released from prison after serving a heavy sentence. This man has married two young girls who wear the "khimar", it is reported. The police also said that his clients contacted him by phone before joining him at the sales location.
After his arrest, the police services under the Tabriquet district presented the suspect to the public prosecutor, who ordered his placement in pre-trial detention.
