Moroccan Gendarme Suspected of Leading Cocaine Ring Arrested After High-Speed Chase

Based on information provided by the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), a gendarme, suspected of being the head of a cocaine trafficking network, and his accomplice were arrested on July 13 after a long car chase with elements of the judicial police from the regional security of Kénitra.

On the orders of the prosecutor of the king near the court of first instance of Kénitra, the two suspects were placed in custody. The seized cocaine was handed over to customs. Their vehicle with burst tires and windows was impounded.
