Alleged child abductions in Morocco? The response from the authorities

The Ministry of the Interior categorically denied the rumors of child abductions in schools. The authorities claim that no official note has been issued, describing these information as "unfounded rumors" with no real basis.

The Interior Department officially reacted to the information circulating on social networks and some electronic sites. These publications reported on a supposed note addressed to school establishments concerning an alleged wave of disappearances of minors.

In its press release, the ministry specifies that these allegations have no factual basis. It deplores the dissemination of these stories without prior verification or recourse to official sources, classifying them among the "unfounded information".

The authorities call on citizens and the media to be extremely vigilant. They insist on the need to stick to institutional sources to avoid the spread of news that could "unnecessarily cause anxiety and confusion" within public opinion.
