The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has vigorously reacted to the content circulating on social networks evoking a climate of chaos. In an official statement, the institution described as "exaggerated" the publications reporting acts of massive delinquency in the areas affected by the recent bad weather.

Regarding the situation in Ksar El Kébir, the police services have not recorded, to date, any report or complaint for theft targeting businesses or health facilities. The authorities specify that they have carried out direct checks with the owners of the premises concerned to confirm the absence of any criminal incident.

On the ground, the operational units of the national security remain fully mobilized alongside the other public forces. Reinforced security devices have been deployed in order to guarantee the maintenance of order and the protection of property, ensuring constant vigilance in the affected areas.
