The decision was made following a routine check carried out in one of the facilities related to the competition. The checks established that the reporter did not comply with the strict regulatory procedures set by the Confederation of African Football.

To access the stadiums and media zones, the continental body imposes a prior validation of the files via its electronic platform, a rule that does not provide for any derogation.
