Algerian Army Signals Readiness Amid Rising Tensions with Morocco

The Algerian Army indirectly threatens Morocco and says it is ready to face any potential threats from the kingdom.
"The deterioration of the regional situation along our border strip and the threat posed by certain enemy parties to the security of the region in recent times, these threats, even indirect, concern us and we must be ready to face them," states the magazine of the Algerian Army, El Djeïch in its latest editorial.
According to the author of the editorial, the ANP must be ready. "Moreover, we are compelled to do so because our country has regional obligations imposed by its pivotal role, in addition to its immutable principles of support for all just causes," he says, thus referring to the renewed tensions between the Polisario and Morocco.
The editorialist did not mention Morocco, but the threats mentioned confirm it. Algeria remains and remains the protector of the Polisario. New exchanges of fire have recently taken place between the militiamen of this independence movement and the Royal Armed Forces (FAR). Algeria has also hinted that it has felt threatened.
