Algeria Coach Belmadi Warns Team Ahead of Crucial Guinea Match in AFCON Round of 16

It is on the evening of Sunday, July 7, 2019 that Algeria will face the Guinean team in the round of 16. A match that promises to be difficult and could be reminiscent of that of Morocco, according to the coach of the Algerian national team, Djamel Belmadi.
"We don’t need to see Morocco eliminated to be warned. The elimination was violent for the Moroccans, after having made a full score in the group stage. We don’t need to have examples like that," explained the coach, a few hours before this match.
And he added that his "players are more determined than ever to continue the adventure. We prepared the Guinea match the same way as with Kenya, Senegal, and Tanzania. If Guinea has to beat us, it has to be very strong."
If the Algerian team qualifies this Sunday evening, it will meet the winner of the Mali-Côte d’Ivoire match, scheduled for Thursday, July 11, in Cairo.
