Algeria Coach Belmadi Backs Morocco for 2022 World Cup Success

The coach of the Algerian national team, Djamel Belmadi, will support Morocco and hopes to see them shine at the 2022 World Cup, which is scheduled to kick off on November 20.
After Algeria’s failure to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar, the Fennecs coach stated that he will support the two other qualified Maghreb countries, namely Morocco and Tunisia.
"I will support Morocco and Tunisia, because their supporters encouraged us in 2019, during the CAN," he said during a press conference on the Fennecs’ news and the World Cup. In addition to these two nations, Belmadi will also support the host country, Qatar.
Regarding the appointment of Walid Regragui as head of the Atlas Lions, the Algerian technician said "I have known Regragui for several years. He is doing a good job with Morocco and I think he is capable of achieving great things with the Moroccan national team." And he added: "I wish him a lot of courage during the World Cup."
