Ajax’s Star Midfielder Hakim Ziyech Set to Leave Club, Director Confirms

The sporting director of Ajax Amsterdam has just announced that the Atlas Lion Hakim Ziyech is among the players on the way out. And that it is a challenge for the team to do without him...
Hakim Ziyech, who has been dazzling with his performances for several seasons, is said to be in the process of leaving Ajax Amsterdam, according to the words of Marc Overmars, the club’s sporting director. Four other Ajax players are also leaving.
According to Marc Overmars, in a statement to the Dutch press: "It’s a big challenge for us. Ziyech and De Jong are the pillars of the team and are very talented." And indeed, Hakim Ziyech has been making headlines. His future club must already be known since Marc Overmars is talking about his departure. However, at the moment, we only know that Ziyech was on the radar of major European teams, such as Bayern Munich, Liverpool or Borussia Dortmund and AS Roma.
To replace Ziyech at Ajax, the Danish under-21 international, Robert Skov, a 22-year-old midfielder from FC Copenhagen, was mainly talked about in January.
