Air Sénégal Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Morocco After Mid-Air Fuel Leak

An Air Sénégal airline plane, coming from France to Diass airport, was diverted to Agadir (Morocco) following a fuel leak in mid-flight.
Air Sénégal’s flight HC4040 narrowly avoided the worst on Saturday, December 17. While the Airbus A330-941 was supposed to leave Roissy Charles de Gaulle for Diass airport, the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing at Agadir airport. "The plane almost crashed due to a fuel leak," explains a passenger to Dakaractu. Following this incident, the Air Sénégal company mobilized to reroute the passengers on board to the Senegalese capital aboard another aircraft.
In addition to this incident, the plane, whose takeoff was initially scheduled for 5:10 p.m., was several hours late.
