Air Arabia Flight Diverted: Medical Emergency and Disruptive Passenger Force Landing in Tunis

An Air Arabia flight from Tangier to Istanbul had a turbulent evening. On Saturday evening, the plane had to make an emergency landing in Tunis due to a pregnant passenger suffering from pain.
While this situation required rapid intervention by the Tunisian medical teams, it was also marked by a more unexpected incident. A passenger, apparently under the influence of alcohol, disrupted the flight by demanding to be allowed to smoke. This behavior forced the crew, made up of Tunisian nationals, to request the intervention of the law enforcement authorities.
The passenger in question, of Moroccan nationality, was finally disembarked in Tunis and placed in custody. He should appear before the Tunisian justice in the next few hours.
As for the other passengers, they were able to resume their journey to Istanbul after this setback, and landed safely at Sabiha airport.
