Agadir’s Vallée des Oiseaux Renovation Advances: Management Study Underway

The renovation project of the Vallée des oiseaux in Agadir is progressing rapidly. The city has just chosen the company that will be responsible for the study dedicated to the exploitation and management strategy of this recreational, educational and above all free space.
The Regional Tourist Development Company Souss-Massa (SDRT), the project owner, had launched a call for tenders for the study on the operation and management of the Vallée des oiseaux in Agadir, reports the newspaper Les Inspirations Eco, noting that at the end of the process, the choice was made on the company AM Environnement SARL. The estimate of the study, previously set at 1 million dirhams, was entrusted to it by the commission for an amount of 396,000 dirhams.
"As an integral part of the third axis of the PDU, dedicated to Urban Planning and the impetus of the tourist area of Agadir, the urban and landscape redevelopment of this recreational and educational space has been entrusted to the Société Agadir Souss-Massa Aménagement as project owner. The study will be carried out within a maximum period of 4 months," specifies the daily.
It should be noted that the investment cost of the development of the Vallée des oiseaux amounts to 58 million dirhams and its delivery is scheduled for the end of 2024. The execution time of the work has been set at 21 months. The existing businesses on the site have already been evacuated for the launch of the preparatory work.
