Agadir Launches Citywide Cleanup: Abandoned Vehicles Targeted in Beautification Effort

The authorities of Agadir have decided to get rid of the abandoned car and truck wrecks on the streets and sidewalks in order to make the city more beautiful and attractive.
The competent services of the municipality have summoned the owners of the abandoned vehicles on the city’s arteries to remove them without delay, otherwise they will find them in the impound lot, reports Al Akhbar. Owners who do not comply quickly will have to pay a fine for this offense, in addition to the costs related to the towing of their wreck to the impound lot.
The operation, started on Tuesday and carried out by the municipal services, in coordination with the administrative police and the National Security, aims to embellish the city and ensure the safety and freedom of movement of people and goods.
