Tangier Launches Crackdown on Abandoned Vehicles

In Tangier, a clean-up operation against abandoned cars. The local authorities have launched a large-scale offensive against vehicles abandoned on public roads.
This action follows the instructions of the Wali of Tangier, Younes Tazi, with the aim of clearing the streets of these carcasses that clutter the public space and hinder traffic.
Many vehicles, abandoned by their owners, have been taken care of by the municipal services. Faced with this recurring problem, which poisons the daily life of the inhabitants, tow trucks have been dispatched to transport the vehicles to the municipal impound lot.
And this is just the beginning. The authorities have already announced their intention to extend this campaign to other streets in the city center in the coming days.
