Agadir Boosts Beach Tourism with New Volleyball and Soccer Facilities

The beaches of the city of Agadir will soon be equipped with beach volleyball and beach soccer areas. A call for tenders has been launched for this purpose by the local development company.
The aim is to develop and enhance the beaches of the city, in order to increase its tourism potential.
At a total cost of 11.49 million dirhams, the project consists of building 12 wooden kiosks as well as six police posts along the beach. The designated company will also have to lay 12 beach soccer fields (39×30 m) as well as four beach volleyball arenas (16×24 m).
Eight existing public toilets totaling 500 square meters will also need to be renovated.
The successful bidder will have six months to complete the work.
