Senegalese Beach Soccer Legend Oumar Sylla Named Morocco’s New National Coach

Senegalese Oumar Sylla has been appointed to succeed Mustapha El Haddaoui as head coach of the Moroccan national beach soccer team.
On Saturday, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced the arrival of beach soccer legend Oumar Sylla as the new coach of the Moroccan National Beach Soccer Team. He is known for his many successes and performances at the continental level.
The man who thus succeeds Mustapha El Haddaoui was born in 1979 and has been leading the Lions of Teranga since 2016, with whom he has won the African Cup of Nations three times.
With him, the Senegalese have reached the World Cup semi-finals once and the quarter-finals twice. Coach Sylla has also been named three times for the Coach of the Year title. This was in 2017, 2019 and 2021.
