African World Cup Qualifiers Likely Postponed to March 2021, CAF Official Says

Initially scheduled for November 2020, the qualifications for the World Cup could be postponed to March 2021, according to an official of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
According to the same source, this decision should be ratified at the end of an emergency meeting announced this week.
Unless there is a last-minute turnaround, the representatives of the African continent at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be known after the qualifying rounds scheduled for March 2021.
As for the 3rd and 4th rounds of the qualifiers for the next Africa Cup of Nations, canceled due to covid-19, they could suffer the same fate.
