World Cup 2022: African Qualifiers Set to Begin in March for Morocco’s Atlas Lions

The qualifiers for the World Cup in Africa will start in March 2021 for a duration of 6 months.
According to the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia, these qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will start in March 2021 for the Atlas Lions, who will host the Sudanese selection on the pitch of the Mohammed V sports complex.
After the Sudanese selection, a double confrontation is planned with Guinea-Bissau next June. As for the group stage, it will be finalized in September 2021, while the directly qualifying playoff match is scheduled for November.
This rescheduling of the program comes due to the covid-19 pandemic and aims to not encroach too much on the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
