Actor Mathieu Kassovitz Challenges 'La Haine' Co-star to Boxing Match Amid Feud

Mathieu Kassovitz, the 56-year-old actor and director, settles his accounts with his colleague, the Franco-Moroccan actor Saïd Taghmaoui, whose insults he can no longer stand. He even proposes a boxing match to him.

Mathieu Kassovitz and Saïd Taghmaoui, who worked together years ago on the film "La Haine" released in 1995, no longer have a good relationship. In a video captioned "Pass on the message he blocked me on insta. See you soon in the ring :)))))))) #nothinghaschangeduntilnow", and posted on Saturday on his Instagram account followed by 52,000 subscribers, the 56-year-old director attacks the Franco-Moroccan. "If you want to laugh and you like La Haine and all the internal stories, stay tuned because this message is for Saïd Taghmaoui [...] My little Saïd, at some point, all this has to stop. I see you on the internet and on your social networks spitting on the film, spitting on the project, spitting on everything. You’ve been on this film for thirty years and you spit on me, you tell bullshit," Kassovitz rages.

The director of La Haine does not appreciate that Saïd Taghmaoui offers collector t-shirts of La Haine in exchange for a subscription to his Instagram page for a payment of 22 euros, "which is more expensive than Netflix". The Franco-Moroccan actor would use this money for the activities of his orphanage. Kassovitz wants to accompany the Franco-Moroccan in this social work. He then makes him a proposal: to buy back the t-shirts for 5,000 euros in exchange for a boxing match. "To definitively shut your mouth about the film and the fact that you wrote the scripts, that I’m a racist... I’m going to propose something to you, an English boxing match, 3x3 (rounds), wherever you want, starting in September, so we have time to prepare," continues the one who is currently in the Netflix series Furies!

Kassovitz’s wish is that all the proceeds be donated to Taghmaoui’s orphanage. He says he wants to "make up for thirty years of insults". And he regrets: "[...] I don’t even know why you went off the rails like that".
