French Actor Said Taghmaoui Flees Home as Wildfires Rage Across Los Angeles

The fires currently ravaging a large part of Los Angeles have also affected the French actor of Moroccan origin, Said Taghmaoui.
Images broadcast by the actor show the extent of the disaster: upscale residential neighborhoods reduced to ashes, thick black smoke obscuring the sky, and residents forced to abandon their vehicles to escape the flames.
"It’s hell," testifies Said Taghmaoui, known for his roles in many Hollywood films and the French film "La Haine". The extreme drought and violent winds have favored the rapid spread of the fire, forcing many residents, including the actor, to flee their homes.
Two hours after his departure, Said Taghmaoui’s house was completely destroyed by the flames. The actor reports the fear and uncertainty prevailing in the city, while the firefighters continue to fight the fire relentlessly.
