Ziyech Rejects Gulf Riches: Moroccan Star Set for Fiorentina Move to Revive Career

Without a club after a short four-month experience at Al-Duhail, Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is on the radar of several Gulf clubs who have made him lucrative offers. But the 32-year-old player prefers Europe and is about to join an Italian club.
Hakim Ziyech has declined three lucrative offers from Gulf clubs. The simple reason: his wish is to continue his football career in Europe, in order to try to regain his level within the Europa League competitions, and to come back strong to wear the Moroccan national team jersey again. According to the Italian newspaper Tutto Calcio, the negotiations between Fiorentina and the Moroccan international are advanced with a view to his integration into the Italian club’s ranks during the summer transfer window.
The potential transfer of Ziyech to Fiorentina is seen as an opportunity for the 32-year-old player to return to his usual level. He could write the new pages of his football career at the Artemio-Franchi stadium. This will allow the former Ajax star to quickly relaunch his career in the hope of participating in the next Africa Cup of Nations (CAN Morocco 2025) with the Atlas Lions at home.
Walid Regragui, the coach of the Moroccan national team, is closely following the situation of the Moroccan attacking midfielder and is waiting for him to regain his best level and consistency before calling him up.
