Zidane Confirms Hakimi to Remain at Dortmund for Another Year
The Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi will have to spend another year at Borussia Dortmund. This is at least what his former coach, Zinedine Zidane, said during a press conference.
Hakimi "will spend another year at Dortmund. (...) He is a good player - we all know that - but it’s good for him to stay there and have another year of match practice behind him." This is how Zinedine Zidane expressed himself on the football future of the Atlas Lion, during a press conference.
The Real Madrid coach said he was satisfied with the performance of the Moroccan international in his current German club, Borussia Dortmund. However, he admitted that Achraf Hakimi has a "great future" with Real.
In 2018, the Spanish club had loaned the Moroccan talent to the German club Borussia Dortmund for a two-year contract. In the Champions League, he has scored two doubles this season.
