14-Year-Old Embarks on Epic Solo Trek Across Morocco

Young 14-year-old Ilyan decided a few months ago to embark on a journey that will allow him to discover the Morocco that saw him born. The particularity in this very brave boy is that he is carrying out this tour of the Kingdom on foot.
It all started from a movie the young boy watched. Immediately, Ilyan’s decision to try this adventure with nature did not take long. Between March and April last, Ilyan has already lived part of his dream, walking from Tangier to Boulmane Dadès, reports the Consonews website.
The second stage of the journey is in preparation and will be done on mule back. From December 2019 to February 2020, Ilyan will therefore leave Boulmane Dadès for Tan Tan.
Then the Franco-Moroccan will resume his journey to head for Tagounite, with camels, passing through the Drâa riverbed, according to the same source.
It should be noted that at each of these stages, the young boy will be accompanied by an adult, a family member, a friend or a guide, in order to better accompany him in his adventure.
Young Ilyan admits to having had extraordinary moments that he decodes and shares on his Facebook page, called "Ilyan’s Journey", where he has several fans who continue to encourage and motivate him.
