Suspect with Criminal History Arrested in 10-Year-Old’s Murder in Meknes

He was arrested. 5 days after the discovery of the body of a young boy, the Meknes police have just announced the arrest of a suspect. The latter has already had to deal with justice in the past.
In a press release, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that it has apprehended a "suspect, with a criminal record in voluntary homicide and physical and sexual assaults, for his involvement, on July 9 current, in a voluntary homicide with an attack on decency of which a 10-year-old child was the victim".
Aged 35, he was arrested "following the results of intense research and investigations, supported by the necessary scientific and technical expertise, which revealed his direct link to the offense of assault and battery leading to death using a blunt object".
Still according to the police, the victim’s body, which bore traces of violence, was found in an abandoned building, next to the Sahrij Swani space.
As soon as the young boy disappeared on July 9, 2019, his family had contacted the police.
