Wydad Casablanca Coach Suspended for 6 Matches, Fined by Moroccan Football Federation

The coach of Wydad Casablanca (WAC) has been suspended for six matches and must pay a fine of 50,000 DH for uncontrollable behavior, impulsiveness during the Throne Cup semi-final match between WAC and Moghreb de Tétouan (MAT).
The verdict was handed down after consultation by the Disciplinary Commission of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). Faouzi Benzarti is sentenced to six matches of firm suspension and the payment of a fine of 50,000 DH. This sanction was imposed on him in accordance with Articles 2, 76, 86, 93 and 97 of the disciplinary code, the Disciplinary Commission said in a statement published on the FRMF website.
During the Throne Cup semi-final match between his club, Wydad Casablanca (WAC), and Moghreb de Tétouan (MAT), Faouzi Benzarti was sent off due to "his untimely behavior, his exaggerated protests against the referee and the fact that he invaded the field."
The Moghreb Tétouan player, Mohamed Kamal, was suspended for one match for receiving a red card against WAC, under Article 2-53 of the disciplinary code. The two teams were also fined 2,000 DH each for accumulation of cards.
As for the president of Youssoufia de Berrechid, Noureddine Elbeidi, he was suspended for 4 matches with a fine of 20,000 DH for his "unsportsmanlike" behavior during the 27th round match of the Botola Pro D1 "Inwi" football championship between his club and AS FAR, in accordance with Articles 2, 76 and 86, the same source said.
