Morocco faces Canada this Thursday as part of the third and final day of the group stage. In 2020/21, the Canadian playing for Bayern Munich was the fastest player in the world with a top speed of 36.5 km/h, closely followed by Hakimi (then at Inter Milan) with a speed of 36.48.

This year, Davies remains among the six fastest players in the world (36.2 km/h), according to UEFA data on teams playing in the Champions League, while Hakimi has dropped out of the Top 10. But that doesn’t prevent the Moroccan from shining in this World Cup and getting his jersey wet again this Thursday to qualify his team for the round of 16.
